FINAL HABANOSOMMELIER 2011 CONTEST IN RUSSIA

ФИНАЛА КОНКУРСА HABANOSOMMELIER 2011 В РОССИИ
GENERAL RULES/ОБЩИЕ ПРАВИЛА
1- The official representatives of Habanos in Russia will be responsible of informing the participants and the Jury members of the Rules of the contest. These Rules will apply to all Jury members and participants in the contest. С правилами конкурса HABANOSOMMELIER участников и членов жюри ознакомят официальные представители Habanos в России. Правила конкурса распространяются на всех участников и членов жюри.
2- The official representatives of Habanos in Russia will publish the Rules of the contest through their corporate web page before the Habanosommelier contest. Правила конкурса будут опубликованы официальными представителями Habanos в России на корпоративных веб сайтах перед началом конкурса HABANOSOMMELIER.
3- The Rules will not be read out loud during the contest; the President of the Jury will draw the attendants’ attention to the fact that they are published in the corporate web page should the attendants wish to consult them. Правила не будут озвучены во время конкурса; Председатель жюри проинформирует участников о том, что ознакомится с правилами конкурса можно будет посетив официальный веб сайт.
4- All participants and Jury members must sign their acceptance of the Rules before the Final phase of the Habanosommelier contest. Все участники, а также члены жюри должны будут письменно подтвердить согласие с правилами конкурса перед финальным этапом HABANOSOMMELIER.
5- The official representatives of Habanos in Russia will have the ultimate responsibility for the competition and should give all the facilities needed to the Jury and the contestants. Полной ответственностью за проведение конкурса HABANOSOMMELIER и обеспечение участников и членов жюри всем необходимым, располагают официальные представители Habanos в России.
6- The languages to be used are Spanish and/or English. Any other language will not be accepted. Any comments/discussion in any other language (including Russian) will not be taken into consideration by the Jury members. Официальные языки конкурса испанский и/или английский. Использование другого иностранного языка не допускается. Любые комментарии/высказывания на любом другом языке (русский) не будут учитываться жюри.
7- The participants of the Final will be those who were awarded the highest scores in the Pre-final written examination; their names were made public by the official representatives of Habanos in Russia through the corporate web page. В финал пройдут участники, набравшие наивысшие баллы в ходе письменного экзамена полуфинала; имена участников прошедших в финал будут анонсированы официальными представителями Habanos в России на корпоративном веб сайте.
8- The points achieved in the Pre-final written examination will not be carried forward to the Final. Заработанные в полуфинале баллы не переносятся в Финал.
9- The order in which the contestants will appear during the Final phase of the competition will be by alphabetical order of their last name. Вызов конкурсантов для участия в финальной части будет проходить в алфавитном порядке по фамилиям.
10- The audience should not intervene by any means in the course of the competition. The President of the Jury may ask any audience member to leave if the behavior is not appropriate. Зрители не должны влиять на ход соревнования. Председатель жюри может попросить кого-либо из публики покинуть место проведения конкурса при неудовлетворительном поведении.
11- Only the contestant who is being judged at the moment should be present in the competition room. All contestants before competing will wait under supervision in another room; once they have competed the contestants must stay in the competition room. Конкурсанты проходят соревнование по одному. Остальные участники ожидают своей очереди в другом помещении. После прохождения конкурса участники остаются в зале жюри.
12- Once the competition has begun, no one will be allowed to leave the competition room until the competition has finished (unless otherwise stated by the President of the Jury). This applies to participants, Jury members, and public. Участники, члены жюри и зрители не могут покидать зал соревнования до окончания конкурса (если другое не было установлено Председателем жюри).
13- The mobile telephones of all participants will be turned off and handed to the President of the Jury before the competition. As each participant finishes the competition, they will be handed their mobile telephones by the President. Перед началом соревнования мобильные телефоны всех участников должны быть отключены и сданы Председателю жюри. По прохождении конкурса участнику возвращается его мобильный телефон.
14- Professional video and photographic cameras will be forbidden at all times, except those used and authorized by the representatives of Habanos in Russia. Only compact photo cameras will be allowed for the public attending the contest. На протяжении всего конкурса профессиональная видео и фото съемка запрещена, если не получено разрешение официальными представителями Habanos в России. Пользоваться компактными камерами будет разрешено только зрителям.
15- During the course of the contest, the representatives of Habanos in Russia will have the exclusive right to record and photograph the proceedings, these images and photographs will belong to Habanos in Russia and may be made public at their discretion. All attendants to this contest (participants, Jury members, and public) implicitly allow the diffusion of the before-mentioned images. Эксклюзивным правом вести видеозапись и фотосъемку будут обладать представители Habanos в России, а также правом на обнародование и использование полученных материалов. Все посетители мероприятия (конкурсанты, жюри и зрители) подразумеваемым образом принимают участие при сборе фото и видео материала.
JURY/ЖЮРИ
1- The Jury will be selected by the official representatives of Habanos in Russia. Состав жюри будет назначен представителями Habanos в России.
2- Jury membership will be strictly confidential until the Final phase of the Habanosommelier contest. Информация о составе жюри строго конфиденциальна и будет обнародована непосредственно на Финале конкурса HABANOSOMMELIER.
3- The Jury will consist of 5 members, each of whom will have one vote. All votes will be considered equal. Жюри будет состоять из 5 человек, каждый из которых обладает равнозначным голосом.
4- The President of the Jury will preside over the contest; the Moderator of the Jury will orally conduct the contest. Конкурс будет возглавлен Председателем жюри, а устное сопровождение состязания будет осуществляться ведущим.
5- Members of the Jury are required to be impartial, and must not discuss any matters relating to the contest. Решение членов жюри должно быть беспристрастным и не подлежит обсуждениям во время проведения конкурса.
6- Regarding the scores of each participant, the highest and lowest marks awarded by individual members of the Jury will be disregarded and the average of the marks awarded by the remaining Jury members will form the score. Самая высокая и самая низкая оценка присвоенный жюри каждому участнику будет списана, и конечный балл будет формироваться как среднее из оставшихся оценок других судей.
7- In case there is a tie between two or more participants, the Jury members must vote to break the tie. The winner of the tie will be the participant that will receive the simple majority of the votes. В случае если между двумя или более участниками образовалось равное деление голосов, члены жюри должны проголосовать дополнительно, чтобы сместить равновесие. Победителем будет назначен участник, получивший большинство голосов.
8- All scores awarded to the contestants are confidential to the Jury, and must not be communicated to any other person except in the case of a challenge. Все оценки присвоенные конкурсантам конфиденциальны среди членов жюри и не могут быть переданы третьим лицам, за исключением оспаривания результата голосования.
9- In the event of a challenge to any decision of the Jury, the President will conduct a review in the presence of the complainant(s) and the official representatives of Habanos in Russia. Habanos will convene a meeting with all the members of the Jury if necessary. Habanos’s decision will be final. Challenges based on misinformation or ignorance of the Rules will not be accepted. В случае возражений против результатов голосования Председатель жюри проводит переоценку в присутствии подающего претензию и официальных представителей Habanos в России. В случае необходимости может быть созвано собрание из всех членов жюри. Окончательным решением будет решение Habanos. Претензии, основанные на ложном информировании или игнорировании Правил приниматься не будут.
10- At the end of the Final phase of the contest, the Jury members will sign a certificate with the results of the contest. This will be the only document that the official representatives of Habanos in Russia will make public; all other deliberating documents from the members of the Jury will remain confidential to the members of the Jury. После проведения Финальной части соревнования, члены жюри подписывают сертификат с результатами соревнований. Данный документ будет единственным помещенным представителями Habanos в России в открытый доступ; все остальные совещательные документы, составленные членами жюри, останутся конфиденциальны.
FINAL PHASE/ФИНАЛ
1. Each participant will have 15 minutes for the Final phase of the contest. Once the 15 minutes are finished (marked by a warning bell), the President will call the end of the contestant’s participation. Any discussion/comments after this time will not be acknowledged by any Jury member. В распоряжении каждого участника будет 15 минут для прохождения финального этапа конкурса. По прошествии 15 минут (сигналом звонка), Председатель обозначит завершение выступления участника. После указанного времени замечания и комментарии не учитываются.
2. The Final phase will consist of practical tests only. Финал конкурса будет состоять из практических тестов.
3. The candidates will be given a humidor containing 8 Habanos and a sales scenario, which requires them to choose one correct vitola for any of the two guests seated on the stage (members of the Jury). After considering the Habanos and the scenario for up to 2 minutes, they should introduce all 8 Habanos to the guests. They should then cut, light and serve only one cigar to one person. Finally they will be given a list of drinks from which they should make a recommendation of an appropriate drink to accompany the Habano they have just prepared. Участникам будет предоставлен хьюмидор из 8 сигар и сценарий, согласно которому конкурсанты должны будут выбрать одну подходящую витолу для любых двоих гостей на сцене, состоящих из членов жюри. На изучение сигар и выполнение сценария дается 2 минуты, после чего конкурсанты должны будут представить все 8 сигар Habanos гостям. Приготовить сигару (обрезать и поджечь) нужно будет только для одного человека. В завершении конкурса участникам будет выдан список напитков, из которых нужно составить пару приготовленной сигаре.
4. All Habanos in the humidor, sales scenarios, and list of drinks will be the same for all participants in the contest. Сигары из хьюмидора, сценарий и список напитков будет одинаковый для всех участников.
5. Only the two members of the Jury seating as guests will be allowed to ask questions; the rest of the members of the Jury will be silent during the participant’s presentation. Только двоим членам жюри, присутствующим в качестве гостей, будет предоставлено право задавать вопросы; остальные члены жюри должны сохранять молчание на протяжении всей презентации.
6. The members of the Jury that will be seated as guests will rotate for each participant; the rotation will be chosen by the President of the Jury. Для каждого участника состав жюри, представленных гостями, будет меняться. Порядок чередования жюри назначается Председателем.
7. Each participant must bring to the contest their own necessary materials for cutting, lighting, and serving the cigars in the Final phase. Каждый участник должен иметь с собой все необходимое для приготовления сигары в финальной части конкурса.
8. At the end of the Final phase of the contest, each participant will receive a diploma, a petaca of Habanos cigars, and any other material that the representatives of Habanos in Russia may consider appropriate. По окончании финальной части конкурса каждый участник получает диплом, упаковку сигар Habanos и другие памятные подарки, предоставленные представителями Habanos в России.
9. The President of the Jury will announce the winner during the Gala Dinner of the Habanos Day (following the contest). The President will only announce the winner. Победитель будет объявлен Председателем жюри на Гала Ужине, следующим за конкурсом. Председатель жюри только назовет имя победителя.
10. The winner of the contest will receive a diploma, a box of Habanos cigars, and any other material that the representatives of Habanos in Russia may consider appropriate. This diploma will give the right of representing Russia in the Habanosommelier contest that will be held in Cuba during the XIV Festival del Habano in February 2012 (all travelling costs will be assumed by the representatives of Habanos in Russia). Победитель получает от представителей Habanos в России диплом, коробку сигар и другие фирменные подарки. Диплом дает право обладателю представлять Россию на конкурсе Habanosommelier на Кубе во время XIV фестиваля Habano в феврале 2012 года (все дорожные расходы будут покрыты представительством Habanos в России).
11. Should the winner of the contest not travel to the XIII Festival del Habano, the Habanos representatives in Russia will decide which one of the other participants will take its place. В случае отказа победителя участвовать в конкурсе на XIII фестивале Habano, представители Habanos в России выбирают на его место другого участника.
